About Us

Chad is an organic, natural farmer and gardener certified through JADAM Organic Farming. After growing food for many years, learning about soil biology and practicing Natural Farming techniques he decided to combine his passion with his work. He enjoyed employment as a full time farmer at an orchard for a couple of years where he cared for a variety of fruit trees, managed greenhouses, vineyards, garden beds, produced compost, installed and repaired irrigation and improved the quality of the soil throughout the farm. Following his employment there, he and his love Penelope founded Soul Soil, a company that offers soil analysis, soil testing, garden consulting, education and biological soil amendments to gardeners and farmers.

Penelope is also an organic, natural gardener who is certified through Dr. Elaine Ingram’s Soil Food Web School as a Biological Soil Analyst. Together Chad and Penelope make a powerful duo committed to returning to our healthy roots without the use of synthetic, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides.

Chad’s Natural Lawn Care takes lawn and gardening services to a whole new level, raising the bar and taking a stand for soil and human health. We are loyal to the soil… and we are loyal to you!
